RFC 1247, “OSPF Version 2”, is a Draft Standard document published in July 1991 by J. Moy. It obsoletes RFC 1131. It has since been updated by RFC 1349. It has been obsoleted by RFC 1583 — refer to the newer document for the authoritative version. The canonical text is published by the RFC Editor.
