RFC 2866, “RADIUS Accounting”, is an Informational document published in June 2000 by C. Rigney. It obsoletes RFC 2139. It has since been updated by RFC 2867, RFC 5080, RFC 5997, RFC 9765. The canonical text is published by the RFC Editor.
Abstract
This document describes a protocol for carrying accounting information between a Network Access Server and a shared Accounting Server. This memo provides information for the Internet community.
