.भारोत is a country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for India, written in the Devanagari script. It is managed by the National Internet eXchange of India (NIXI), the same organization that runs .in. This domain is part of a set of eight internationalized domain names (IDNs) that represent India in various languages. Registration is open to anyone, but domain names must be in Devanagari script and follow the rules set by NIXI. The domain was delegated in August 2016 and became operational in June 2017. It gives Indian users a way to create web addresses in their own script, making the internet more accessible for speakers of Hindi and other languages that use Devanagari.
