Write for HostDir
We run a daily news desk covering web hosting, cloud, datacenters, networking, and the infrastructure behind the internet. We take on a small number of outside contributors who know the field and write with precision.
What we publish
Original reporting and analysis for a technical, industry-literate audience: the people who run infrastructure, buy hosting, and follow the companies that shape it. We are not looking for beginner explainers or reworded press releases.
What we expect
- Cadence
- Accepted contributors publish one article a month.
- Originality
- Every piece is written for us, accurate, and properly sourced. No reprints or syndicated copy.
- Self-promotion
- In return for supporting the desk you may include one relevant, in-context mention of your company or work. Keep it light. Articles written mainly to promote a product are declined.
- Editing
- We edit for house style and may revise or decline anything that does not meet the bar.
