RW (.rw)

.rw is the country-code top-level domain for Rwanda. It is managed by the Rwanda Internet Community and Technology Alliance, known as RICTA Ltd, based in Kigali. The domain is open for registration by any individual or entity worldwide, with no specific residency restrictions. RICTA operates the registry and handles both administrative and technical operations. The domain was first registered in 1996, and a notable redelegation occurred in 2012 when responsibility shifted to RICTA, which is a multi-stakeholder organization representing Rwanda's internet community. This move aimed to improve local management and service quality for the Rwandan namespace.
