.dealer is a generic top-level domain for businesses that sell goods or services, such as car dealers, art dealers, or equipment dealers. It is sponsored by Intercap Registry Inc., based in the Cayman Islands. The domain is open to anyone, but registrants must agree to use it in connection with a bona fide dealership or sales operation. There are no strict eligibility checks, though the registry reserves the right to suspend names used in bad faith. The TLD was originally delegated to Dealer Dot Com, Inc. in December 2015, then transferred to Intercap Registry Inc. in November 2019. It is operated on CentralNic's backend infrastructure.
