Welcome to the community.

This forum has been created for professional discussion around web hosting, infrastructure, servers, cloud platforms, domains, and the wider hosting industry.
The aim is to keep this a high quality, useful and respectful space for everyone involved.

Please read and follow the rules below.

1. Respect other members

Be professional and respectful at all times.

Healthy debate is encouraged, but personal attacks are not.

  • No harassment or abusive language
  • No discrimination or hate speech
  • No trolling or baiting
  • Disagree with ideas, not people

Treat others as industry peers. This is a professional community, not a battleground.

2. Keep posts relevant and useful

Stay on topic and post in the correct sections.

This community focuses on:
  • Web hosting and infrastructure
  • Servers, VPS and cloud
  • Domains and DNS
  • Security and performance
  • Hosting business operations
  • Industry news and discussion

Low effort posts, one line replies, or irrelevant threads may be removed.

3. No spam or unsolicited promotion

Spam will be removed immediately.

  • No affiliate spam
  • No referral link dumping
  • No posting purely to advertise
  • No mass promotional private messages
  • No repeated self promotion across threads

If you represent a company, be transparent and contribute to discussions properly.

4. Vendors and hosting companies

Hosting providers and service vendors are welcome here.

However:
  • Disclose your affiliation where relevant
  • Do not pretend to be a customer
  • Do not attack competitors
  • Keep promotion within appropriate sections

Genuine participation is encouraged. Stealth marketing is not.

5. Illegal or unethical content

Do not post or request anything illegal or unethical.

  • No hacking services or tools for malicious use
  • No DDoS or booter services
  • No stolen data or databases
  • No pirated software
  • No fraud or illegal activity discussion

Security discussion is fine. Illegal activity is not.

6. Account responsibility

You are responsible for your account and behaviour.

  • Do not share accounts
  • Do not impersonate others
  • Do not create multiple accounts to manipulate discussions
  • Do not attempt to bypass bans

Violations may result in permanent removal.

7. Posting quality guidelines

Help keep the forum valuable for everyone.

  • Use clear and descriptive titles
  • Post in the correct category
  • Provide useful detail when asking for help
  • Avoid excessive capital letters
  • Avoid low effort or one word replies

High quality discussions attract high quality members.

8. Reviews and feedback

Honest reviews are welcome, but must be genuine.

  • No fake reviews
  • No competitor smear campaigns
  • Provide real experience where possible
  • Keep reviews factual and fair

Misleading or malicious reviews may be removed.

9. Moderation

Moderators are here to keep the forum useful and civil.

They may:
  • Edit or remove posts
  • Move threads
  • Issue warnings
  • Suspend or ban accounts

If you have an issue with moderation, contact the admin team privately rather than arguing publicly.

10. Reporting problems

If you see spam or rule breaking:

  • Use the report function
  • Do not engage publicly with the offender
  • Allow moderators to handle it

This helps keep the community clean and professional.

11. Signatures and profiles

You may include your company or website in your profile or signature.

Keep it simple and professional.

  • No excessive promotional links
  • No misleading claims
  • No spam style signatures

Final note

This community is being built for long term value, not short term noise.

If you contribute useful insight and engage professionally, you will find this a strong and worthwhile place to be.
If you are here only to spam or cause disruption, you will be removed.
