Overview
RFC 2225, “Classical IP and ARP over ATM”, is a Proposed Standard document published in April 1998 by M. Laubach, J. Halpern. It obsoletes RFC 1577, RFC 1626. It has since been updated by RFC 5494. The canonical text is published by the RFC Editor.
Abstract
This memo defines an initial application of classical IP and ARP in an Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) network environment configured as a Logical IP Subnetwork (LIS). [STANDARDS-TRACK]
