RFC 1229, “Extensions to the generic-interface MIB”, is a Proposed Standard document published in May 1991 by K. McCloghrie. It has since been updated by RFC 1239. Abstract
This RFC contains definitions of managed objects used as experimental extensions to the generic interfaces structure of MIB-II. [STANDARDS-TRACK]
