Founded in 2000 by Rob Roy, the company designs and operates high-density data centers and AI factories, including EVO chambers capable of powering and cooling over 2MW per cabinet. Their product range includes colocation, edge data centers, and telecom solutions, along with the Switch CONNECT, SAFE, and SUPERLOOP ecosystems. Switch operates major campuses in Las Vegas, Tahoe Reno, Atlanta, and Grand Rapids. They hold more than 950 issued and pending patent claims for their designs. The company runs all of its North American data centers on 100% renewable energy through its Switch GREEN initiative.
