Bhutan Telecom Limited (BTL) is the state-owned telecom and internet provider in Bhutan, founded on July 1, 2000. It grew out of the Department of Telecommunications, which dates back to 1970. The company runs a network covering all 205 Gewogs across the country. Its web hosting arm offers shared plans with cPanel, free .bt domains, and free email accounts. Plans start at Nu 2,250 per year for 500 MB storage. BTL also provides email hosting, domain registration, and datacenter services.
