TRV (.trv)

The .trv domain is a generic top level domain operated by Travelers TLD, LLC, the corporate subsidiary of the Travelers insurance company. Its main purpose is to provide a branded namespace for Travelers and its affiliates. The registry restricts registration to the Travelers entity and its related companies. While the .trv TLD exists as a public domain extension in the root zone, it functions essentially as a closed, brand focused namespace. It is not open for general public registration. The IANA record shows that Afilias handles the technical infrastructure for the domain. The delegation took place in late 2015, making .trv part of the first wave of new generic TLDs approved by ICANN.
