.montblanc domain extension

.montblanc is a brand generic top-level domain (gTLD) for the luxury writing instrument and accessories company. It was originally delegated to Richemont DNS Inc., the corporate parent of Montblanc. The domain was intended for official Montblanc use only. Since August 2017, the string has been revoked and removed from the DNS root zone, meaning no .montblanc domains resolve on the public internet. The application was filed in 2012 during ICANN's new gTLD program, and the registry agreement was signed in late 2014.

The .montblanc domain was delegated in June 2015 after a standard evaluation period. Less than three years later, in August 2017, the registry agreement was terminated and the delegation was revoked.
