.giving is a generic top-level domain for organizations and individuals involved in charitable giving and philanthropy. It is sponsored by Public Interest Registry (PIR), the same nonprofit that runs .org. The domain is open to anyone, but registrants are expected to use it in connection with giving, fundraising, or charitable activities. There are no strict eligibility restrictions, though PIR may enforce acceptable use policies to prevent misuse. The TLD was originally delegated to Giving Limited in July 2015, then transferred to PIR in October 2022.
