CERN operates this large data center in Meyrin, just outside Geneva at 1, Esplanade des Particules. It connects to 25 networks and 2 carriers with one Internet Exchange present. The facility is best known as the backbone for the Large Hadron Collider experiments, but also offers colocation space to research and education institutions. Given its unique role in particle physics, this is a colocation facility with a hyperscale bent for scientific computing.
