.ලංකා is the Sinhalese country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Sri Lanka. It is managed by the LK Domain Registry, the same organization that runs the .lk domain. This domain is intended for use by Sinhalese speakers and organizations in Sri Lanka. Registration is open to anyone with a local presence or connection to the country, though specific eligibility rules may apply. The domain was delegated in August 2010, following a report on the delegation of both the Sinhalese .ලංකා and Tamil .இலங்கை domains to the LK Domain Registry. It provides a native script option for Sri Lanka's Sinhala language community.
