.goodhands domain extension

.goodhands was a generic top-level domain created for Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance Company. The company, known for its “good hands” slogan, operated the TLD as a brand space. The domain was delegated in July 2016 but never appeared in the root zone. It was revoked in September 2018, just over two years after its registration date of February 2016. Because it was a brand TLD, registration was limited to Allstate and its authorized entities. The TLD is no longer active.

Allstate Fire and Casualty Insurance Company applied for .goodhands under ICANN’s new gTLD program. The domain was delegated on July 11, 2016, but it never resolved in the root zone. ICANN revoked the delegation on September 20, 2018, effectively ending the TLD.
