The .duns TLD was a branded generic top level domain intended for use by The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. Dun & Bradstreet is a well known business data and credit reporting firm. The domain was delegated in July 2016 and was assigned to the corporation. However, it never appeared in the root zone. The registry was not assigned and no name servers were listed. The .duns domain was ultimately revoked in August 2019. It was designed for Dun & Bradstreet's own internal and external business purposes, likely to protect the DUNS trademark and brand online. However, the domain never actually operated as a functioning TLD.
