About Zoraxy
Zoraxy is an all-in-one reverse proxy and web server designed for homelabbers and small infrastructure operators. It handles SSL certificate management, URL rewriting, access control, and basic DDoS mitigation through a clean web UI. The software bundles a built-in web server so you don't need to pair it with Nginx or Apache.
It runs on Linux and macOS, supports Let's Encrypt for automatic HTTPS, and includes features like IP whitelisting/blacklisting, rate limiting, and WebSocket proxying. The project is written in Go and stores its configuration in a simple JSON file. Zoraxy can also act as a static file server and supports multiple virtual hosts from one interface.
Created by developer Toby Chui, Zoraxy is free and open source under the AGPL-3.0 license. It targets users who want a capable reverse proxy without the complexity of enterprise tools like HAProxy or Traefik. The web UI makes it approachable for non-sysadmins running home servers or small projects.
