About ZenTao

ZenTao is a full lifecycle project management system that covers product planning, development, testing, and release management. It includes modules for story management, task tracking, bug tracking, test case management, and document collaboration. The platform supports Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies, making it adaptable to different team workflows.

Originally created by the Chinese company EasySoft (now Qingdao Nature EasySoft Network Technology Co.), ZenTao has over 30 built-in reports and a real-time dashboard. It integrates with Git, SVN, Jenkins, and email via SMTP. The tool supports LDAP and API access for extending automation. The web interface runs on PHP with MySQL or MariaDB, and it can be installed on Linux, Windows, or deployed via Docker.

ZenTao is offered under a dual license: the open source AGPLv3 version for self-hosted use, and a commercial edition with additional features like office document preview, custom workflows, and priority support. It is used by thousands of organizations globally, especially in China, for managing product development cycles from ideation to delivery.
