Tipi

Tipi is an open source home server manager that runs Docker containers through a web dashboard.

About Tipi

Tipi is a self hosted control panel for managing Docker applications on a home server. It gives you a clean web interface to browse, install, and update apps like Plex, Jellyfin, or Nextcloud without touching the command line. The system handles reverse proxy configuration, SSL certificates, and port management automatically.

Tipi runs on any Linux machine with Docker and Docker Compose. It includes a curated app store with over 100 one click installers, each preconfigured with sensible defaults. You can also add custom Docker Compose files for unsupported apps. The dashboard shows CPU, memory, and disk usage for each container.

The project is maintained by the Tipi community and released under a permissive open source license. It is ideal for homelab enthusiasts who want a simpler alternative to Portainer or CasaOS without giving up control of their data.
