About Tiki

Tiki is a full-featured web application framework that doubles as a content management system. It started as a wiki engine but grew into a modular platform with over 50 optional features. You can run it as a simple website, a knowledge base, a community portal, or even an e-commerce store. It runs on PHP and supports MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.

Tiki includes file and image galleries, a forum system, blog modules, article management, a calendar, and a newsletter tool. It also has built-in social networking features like user profiles, friends lists, and activity streams. The interface is fully customizable through themes and the module system. It supports multi-lingual sites out of the box with automatic language detection.

Tiki is developed by the Tiki Software Community Association, a non-profit. It is released under the LGPL license. It works on standard LAMP stacks and is suitable for organizations that want an all-in-one web platform without piecing together multiple plugins.
