About Speedtest Tracker
Speedtest Tracker is a self-hosted tool that runs Ookla Speedtest CLI tests on a schedule and stores the results in a database. It gives you a dashboard to view download and upload speeds, latency, and jitter over days, weeks, or months. You can set it and forget it, then check in whenever you want to see if your ISP is delivering what you pay for.
The app runs in Docker on any Linux server or NAS. It supports multiple test servers, custom test intervals, and email or webhook notifications when speeds drop below a threshold. The interface is built with Laravel and Livewire, so it feels snappy. It stores data in SQLite or MySQL and exposes a REST API for pulling stats into other tools like Grafana or Home Assistant.
