About SolusIO
SolusIO (formerly SolusVM 2) is a virtual server management platform designed for hosting providers who sell VPS and cloud services. It is the successor to the widely-used SolusVM 1, rebuilt from the ground up with a modern architecture and REST API.
The platform supports KVM virtualization and provides a complete self-service portal for end users. Customers can deploy, reboot, reinstall, resize, and manage their virtual servers through a clean web interface. The admin panel gives providers full control over compute nodes, IP address pools, storage, OS templates, and plan configuration.
SolusIO includes built-in WHMCS and Blesta integration for automated provisioning. When a customer purchases a VPS plan, the server is automatically created, IP assigned, OS installed, and credentials delivered without manual intervention.
Key improvements over SolusVM 1 include a fully redesigned UI, proper API-first architecture, cloud-init support, backup and snapshot management, and improved cluster management for providers running multiple compute nodes.
