About Saleor

Saleor is an open-source ecommerce platform that uses GraphQL for its API and follows a headless architecture. This means you get a flexible backend for managing products, orders, and customers, and you can build the frontend with any framework. It supports multi-channel, multi-warehouse, and marketplace setups out of the box.

Built with Python and Django, Saleor offers real-time inventory tracking, a built-in CMS for product pages, and integrations with popular payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal. The dashboard is a React-based single-page app. It also includes a GraphQL playground for testing queries and mutations directly.

This tool is aimed at developers and brands that need a customizable, high-performance online store without the lock-in of proprietary platforms. It's released under a BSD-3-Clause license. Notable users include Lush and some large European retailers. The project is maintained by Mirumee Software.
