Redash

Redash is an open-source platform for querying, visualizing, and sharing data from multiple sources through interactive dashboards.

About Redash

Redash lets you connect to databases and APIs, write SQL or NoSQL queries, and turn results into charts and tables. It is designed for teams that need to explore data without building custom dashboards from scratch. You can schedule query refreshes, set alerts, and share live links with colleagues.

The tool supports over 30 data sources including PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Redshift, MongoDB, and Google Sheets. Queries can be written in the browser with autocomplete and syntax highlighting. Dashboards update automatically and can be embedded or exported as images. Redash runs on Linux and can be deployed via Docker.

It is free and open source under the BSD license, maintained by the community and originally created by Arik Fraimovich. Redash is a good fit for engineering teams, data analysts, and anyone who wants a self-hosted alternative to proprietary BI tools. Many companies use it alongside their existing data warehouses.
