About Privoxy
Privoxy is a filtering proxy that sits between your browser and the internet. It blocks ads, prevents tracking, and strips cookies, banners, and pop-ups before they reach you. You can customize its action files to whitelist or blacklist specific sites or content types. It works as a stand-alone proxy or together with Squid and other caching proxies.
