About PocketBase

PocketBase is a single-file backend solution that gives you an embedded SQLite database, authentication, file storage, and real-time subscriptions out of the box. It runs as a standalone server on Linux, macOS, and Windows, making it ideal for small projects and prototypes that need a quick, self-hosted backend without managing dependencies.

The tool provides auto-generated REST APIs for your collections, plus an admin dashboard for managing data visually. It supports email/password and OAuth2 authentication, and includes a built-in JS SDK for client-side integration. PocketBase is written in Go with no external runtime requirements.

It is completely free and open source under the MIT license, with no hidden paid tiers. The project is maintained by a single developer, Gani Georgiev, and has gained strong traction in the developer community for its simplicity and performance.
