About Password Pusher

Password Pusher lets you share passwords, secrets, or files through a web link that automatically expires after a set number of views or a time delay. You paste the content, choose the expiration rules, and get a short URL to send to your recipient. Once the link is viewed enough times or too much time passes, the content is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

It runs as a self-hosted web app written in Ruby on Rails. You can deploy it on Railway, Heroku, Docker, Kubernetes, or a plain Linux server. It also works as a command line tool through curl or a native CLI wrapper. The project is actively maintained by Peter Lombardo and has accumulated over 2000 GitHub stars and over 100 million pushes on the public instance at pwpush.com.
