About Paperless-ngx
Paperless-ngx is a self-hosted document management tool that takes your scanned files, PDFs, and emails and turns them into a tidy, searchable digital filing cabinet. It watches a folder or consumes uploads, then uses machine learning to classify, tag, and date documents without you lifting a finger.
The system supports OCR for text extraction across dozens of languages, and it can match documents against custom rules for automatic categorization.
