About NetAlertX
NetAlertX is a lightweight network monitoring tool that continuously scans your local network for new or unknown devices. It runs as a Docker container or Python script, checking for devices via ARP, ICMP, and other discovery methods. When it finds a device not in your whitelist, it fires off notifications through email, Pushover, Telegram, or other channels.
You can configure custom device groups, set scan schedules, and view a web dashboard showing all connected devices with their MAC addresses, IPs, and last seen timestamps.
