MySpeed

MySpeed is a self-hosted internet speed test tool that monitors your connection quality over time with scheduled tests and detailed graphs.

About MySpeed

MySpeed runs inside a Docker container on your own server or Raspberry Pi. It downloads and uploads test data to measure latency, download speed, and upload speed on a schedule you define. Results are stored in a local database so you can track performance trends across hours, days, or weeks.

The web dashboard shows clean line charts for each metric. You can set custom test intervals, choose different speed test servers, and export raw data. It works on any system with Docker, including Linux, Windows, and macOS. The project is built with Node.js and uses a SQLite backend. No outside cloud account is required.

This tool is useful for anyone who wants to verify their ISP's actual performance or troubleshoot intermittent slowdowns. It is released as open source under the MIT license and is actively maintained by its developer, Mathieu "gnmyt" V. The project has several thousand stars on GitHub and a responsive community.
