About MeshCentral

MeshCentral is a self-hosted remote management tool for controlling computers, servers, and IoT devices from a single web-based console. It gives you full remote desktop access, command-line control, and file transfer capabilities without needing any third-party cloud service. The software runs on Windows, Linux, and macOS servers and can manage machines across all major operating systems.

It supports features like two-factor authentication, end-to-end encryption, and Intel AMT for out-of-band management. You can deploy agents silently, set up custom branding, and integrate with LDAP or Active Directory for user authentication. The project is actively maintained by Intel engineer Ylian Saint-Hilaire and has a large community contributing plugins and translations.

MeshCentral is completely free and open source under the Apache 2.0 license. It is ideal for IT administrators, MSPs, and hobbyists who want to avoid subscription fees or keep management traffic on their own network. The web interface is responsive and works from any modern browser without client software for the admin.
