About Mayan EDMS
Mayan EDMS is a web-based electronic document management system built on Django and Python. It handles the full lifecycle of your documents from upload and OCR processing to versioning, indexing, and automated workflow routing. The system supports multiple document sources including email, scanners, and direct file uploads.
You can apply optical character recognition to scanned documents, automatically categorize them using metadata and index trees, and set up user-defined workflows for approvals or reviews.
