About Mailu

Mailu gives you a complete, self-hosted email platform packaged as a set of Docker containers. It includes the Postfix mail transfer agent, Dovecot IMAP and POP3 server, the Rspamd spam filtering engine, and the Roundcube webmail client. The admin interface lets you manage domains, users, aliases, and quotas through a clean web UI. Mailu also supports features like fetchmail for external mailbox retrieval, webdav calendars and contacts via Radicale, and automatic TLS certificate provisioning with Let's Encrypt. Deployment is straightforward with Docker Compose and a supplied configuration wizard. The project is maintained by a community of contributors and is released under the MIT license. It runs on any Linux system with Docker, making it a flexible choice for individuals or small organizations that want control over their email infrastructure without a cloud dependency.
