Kresus

Kresus is an open-source personal finance manager that automatically syncs with your bank accounts to track spending and budgets.

About Kresus

Kresus is a self-hosted personal finance manager that pulls transactions directly from your bank accounts using the Open Banking (PSD2) standard or manual CSV imports. It categorizes spending, tracks budgets, and shows your balance history in clean charts. You can set up alerts for low balances or unusual activity.

The app runs on any Linux server via Node.js and SQLite or PostgreSQL. It supports banks across Europe through the Gocardless and Nordigen APIs, plus many others via the Weboob library. Kresus also offers a REST API for custom integrations and a dark mode for the web interface.

It is free software under the AGPLv3 license, maintained by a small community of contributors. Perfect for anyone who wants to control their financial data without sending it to a cloud service. The project was originally forked from the now-defunct Cozy Banks app.
