About Karakeep
The app runs inside Docker and stores everything on your own infrastructure. You can organize saved pages into lists, tag them freely, and search through both titles and the extracted full text. A browser extension makes saving quick, and Karakeep can also import from popular services like Pocket, Raindrop, and Readeck. The project was originally created by a developer named Mohamed Bassem and later forked to live on as Karakeep.
Anyone who wants to own their bookmarks and avoid link rot will find this useful. It is open source under the AGPL v3 license, so there are no subscriptions or limits. Just your own server and a library of pages that stay exactly as you saved them.
