About Incus
Incus is a free and open-source hypervisor for managing system containers and virtual machines. It was forked from LXD in 2024 by the Linux Containers community to provide a more lightweight and community-driven alternative. Incus supports running full Linux distributions inside isolated environments, using either native containers or lightweight virtual machines via QEMU.
