About HTMLy

HTMLy is a PHP-based flat-file CMS that eliminates the need for a traditional database. It stores everything as plain text files using Markdown, making it lightweight and easy to deploy. The system generates static HTML pages for fast loading and simple hosting on any PHP-enabled server.

It includes built-in caching, automatic SEO-friendly URLs, and support for custom themes and plugins. Multiple authors can collaborate through a simple admin panel. Content is organized by categories and tags, and the system automatically generates sitemaps and RSS feeds for better discoverability.

This tool is ideal for bloggers, developers, and anyone who wants a database-free website that's easy to back up and migrate. HTMLy is open source under the GPL v2 license, hosted on GitHub by developer danpros. It runs on any platform with PHP 5.3 or higher.
