About Homarr

Homarr is a self-hosted homepage dashboard that pulls together your services, bookmarks, and widgets into a single customizable grid. Think of it as a browser start page made for sysadmins. It can monitor service status using Docker or API pings, fetch weather data, display RSS feeds, and even show your calendar. The interface is built with modern web tech and runs as a Docker container, making setup a quick one-liner.

You configure everything through a real-time UI you can directly edit and see results instantly. Homarr supports Docker service discovery, meaning it can automatically detect running containers and populate your dashboard. It integrates with Plex, Sonarr, Radarr, and other media tools, and offers built-in search bars, clock widgets, and iframe embeds. The project stores configuration in a JSON file by default, but can use SQLite or PostgreSQL for multi-user setups.

Homarr is open source under the MIT license and actively maintained by the Homarr Labs community. There are no paid tiers or feature gates anyone can run the full dashboard on any server with Docker. It is especially popular among homelab enthusiasts who want a central launchpad for their self-hosted services.
