About HitKeep
You can configure multiple monitors with custom check intervals and timeout thresholds. HitKeep supports HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, and ICMP ping checks, making it useful for web services as well as network devices. The tool provides a simple web dashboard to view the status of all your monitors and see historical uptime logs. It also exposes a JSON API for integrating with other systems or building your own frontend.
HitKeep is open source under the MIT license and can be self-hosted on Linux, macOS, or Windows. It is a good fit for developers and small teams who want a lightweight monitoring solution without paying for a SaaS subscription. The project was created by Pascale Beier and is actively maintained on GitHub.
