HitKeep

HitKeep is a straightforward uptime monitoring tool that pings your websites, APIs, and other services at regular intervals to confirm they are reachable. It runs checks as often as every 60 seconds and sends alerts through email, Slack, Discord, or a custom webhook when something fails. The project is built with Go and uses a SQLite database, so there is no heavy infrastructure to set up.

You can configure multiple monitors with custom check intervals and timeout thresholds. HitKeep supports HTTP, HTTPS, TCP, and ICMP ping checks, making it useful for web services as well as network devices. The tool provides a simple web dashboard to view the status of all your monitors and see historical uptime logs. It also exposes a JSON API for integrating with other systems or building your own frontend.

HitKeep is open source under the MIT license and can be self-hosted on Linux, macOS, or Windows.
