HestiaCP

An open source web and DNS control panel for Linux servers, forked from VestaCP.

About HestiaCP

HestiaCP is a control panel that manages web hosting, DNS, email, databases, and firewall rules from a browser interface. It is a community-driven fork of VestaCP, created after that project went quiet. The panel runs on Debian and Ubuntu, with a focus on stability and security.

You can add and manage Apache or Nginx websites, configure SSL certificates through Let's Encrypt, create mail accounts with Sieve filtering, and set up DNS zones with templates. It includes a file manager, cron job scheduling, and a software installer for WordPress and other apps. The backend uses Bash scripts and stores data in plain text files with MySQL for user accounts.
