About ERPNext
ERPNext is a full-featured enterprise resource planning system built by Frappe Technologies. It covers accounting, billing, invoicing, inventory management, manufacturing, CRM, project management, and more. Everything comes in one package so you do not need to stitch together separate tools for billing and inventory.
The billing module supports automatic invoice generation, recurring billing, payment reconciliation, and integration with payment gateways like Stripe, PayPal, and Razorpay. Tax rules, currency conversion, and multi-company accounting are handled natively. ERPNext runs on Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) and can be self-hosted or used via Frappe Cloud. The backend uses Python with the Frappe framework and MariaDB.
