Cluster Control

ClusterControl is a database management system built by Severalnines. It handles deployment, monitoring, and scaling for clusters running MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MariaDB. You get automated failover, backup verification, and performance advisors without needing separate tools for each engine. The software can manage both on-premise servers and cloud instances from AWS, Azure, or GCP.

It supports hundreds of nodes across sharded or replicated topologies. The dashboard shows query analytics, schema change management, and real-time alerts. An integrated shell gives you direct access to the database command line. ClusterControl works with Linux servers and offers both a web UI and a REST API for automation. There are no limits on how many deployments you can monitor under the free edition.

The free edition covers monitoring and backup for up to three server nodes. For advanced features like load balancing or auto-recovery, you buy a subscription per node. Severalnines uses a proprietary license but lets you test with a free tier. The product is widely used by organizations that run mixed database environments across data centers and public clouds.
