Clientexec handles the backend work of running a hosting business: invoicing, payment collection, ticket support, and provisioning. It integrates with dozens of merchant gateways like Stripe, PayPal, and Authorize.Net, and with control panels such as cPanel, Plesk, and DirectAdmin. You can also sell domain names through Enom, ResellerClub, or other registrars. The software automatically creates invoices, sends payment reminders, and suspends accounts for nonpayment. Support features include a helpdesk with email piping and a knowledge base. Clientexec runs on your own server (Linux with Apache or Nginx and PHP) or it can be self-hosted in a cloud environment. The interface is web-based and works for both admins and clients. Mobile apps are available for iOS and Android. The company behind it, Clientexec Inc., has been around since the early 2000s. It is best suited for smaller to mid-size hosting companies that want an all-in-one billing and support solution without the complexity (or cost) of larger platforms like Ubersmith or WHMCS.
