BitNinja is a full-stack server security tool designed for Linux-based hosting environments. It combines a web application firewall, DDoS mitigation, malware scanner, and an IP reputation system into one agent. The firewall uses signature-based and behavioral analysis to block malicious requests. The DDoS module detects and mitigates layer 3, 4, and 7 attacks automatically. The malware scanner runs on a schedule and can quarantine infected files. BitNinja also includes a real-time blacklist that updates from a global threat network.
