About autokitteh

Autokitteh is an open source automation platform that links your code directly to external events. Instead of polling or writing glue logic, you define triggers from webhooks, polling connections, or scheduled events. When those events fire, Autokitteh runs your Python or Go functions automatically, handling retries and state for you.

It supports connections to GitHub, Slack, Discord, Google Calendar, and custom HTTP endpoints. You write handlers in Python or Go, and Autokitteh manages the webhook listeners, OAuth token refreshes, and execution history. The project was started by former Google engineers and is written in Go with a gRPC-based runtime.

Autokitteh is licensed under the Apache 2.0 open source license. It is best suited for developers who want to replace complex integration stacks or self-hosted workflow engines with a lightweight, code-first approach. Prebuilt templates for common automation patterns are available on the project website.
