A Cost Mode Registry for the Application-Layer Traffic Optimization Protocol
RFC 9274, “A Cost Mode Registry for the Application-Layer Traffic Optimization Protocol”, is a Proposed Standard document published in July 2022 by M. Boucadair, Q. Wu. It updates RFC 7285. The canonical text is published by the RFC Editor.
Abstract
This document creates a new IANA registry for tracking cost modes supported by the Application-Layer Traffic Optimization (ALTO) Protocol. Also, this document relaxes a constraint that was imposed by the ALTO specification on allowed cost mode values.
This document updates RFC 7285.
What “Proposed Standard” means
