RFC 2467, “Transmission of IPv6 Packets over FDDI Networks”, is a Proposed Standard document published in December 1998 by M. Crawford. It obsoletes RFC 2019. It has since been updated by RFC 8064. The canonical text is published by the RFC Editor.
Abstract
This document specifies the frame format for transmission of IPv6 packets and the method of forming IPv6 link-local addresses and statelessly autoconfigured addresses on FDDI networks. [STANDARDS-TRACK]
