Overview
RFC 2132, “DHCP Options and BOOTP Vendor Extensions”, is a Draft Standard document published in March 1997 by S. Alexander, R. Droms. It obsoletes RFC 1533. It has since been updated by RFC 3442, RFC 3942, RFC 4361, RFC 4833, RFC 5494. The canonical text is published by the RFC Editor.
Abstract
This document specifies the current set of DHCP options. Future options will be specified in separate RFCs. The current list of valid options is also available in ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/iana/assignments. [STANDARDS-TRACK]
